What types of events do you have at La Fonda on Main?
We can accommodate virtually any type of event. We host many weddings and wedding related events including rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and bridal showers. In addition, we host baby showers, baptisms, anniversaries, retirements, birthdays, fundraisers, corporate meetings and holiday events.
What type of food do you serve?
La Fonda on Main is one of the city’s oldest Mexican restaurants, serving Tex-Mex to Interior Mexican cuisine. We can create and price a custom menu also.
Is there a private space for special events?
Our Casa Alicia is a beautiful hacienda style private event space. We offer an indoor dining salon with formal seating up to 80 guests. Adjoining Casa Alicia is a wonderful private outdoor patio area. This patio area includes a heated floor, fireplace and fountain. For cocktail parties we often host up to 125 guests.
Can you hold a date for the Casa Alicia without completing the contract or paying the deposit?
A date cannot be reserved without a deposit and a signed special event policies and reservations deposit agreement. Demand for special events is significant, our events are booked on a "first come, first serve" basis.
How much does it cost to have an event at Casa Alicia?
There are several factors that will determine the cost for an event: day and time, facilities and linens fee, food and beverage minimum, service charge, menu, and bar selections. Proposals are available upon request.
What time can my Casa Alicia event start?
A brunch/lunch event can start as early as 10:00am and as late as 1:00pm. The earliest start time for a dinner/evening event is 5:00pm. The latest start time for a dinner/evening event is 7:00pm Sunday-Thursday and 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday. There is flexibility in start and end times on a case-by-case basis and will be determined by our special events coordinator.
What does “seated” versus “cocktail style” mean?
“Seated” indicates that there is a seat for every individual attending the event for dining. “Cocktail” indicates that there are a limited number of chairs and tables and most of your guests will be standing during the event.
How many tables will there be for a Casa Alicia event?
The table setup will be arranged by our special events coordinator and based on the number of guests attending your event.
Is Casa Alicia handicap accessible?
Casa Alicia has a private side entrance on the south side of our building that is handicap accessible.
